Trent’s graduation was one such day. It was beautiful, it was scenic, there was perfect cloud cover for some lovely lighting. Unfortunately, Trent was really in many of them since he was soooo far away, but we got the money shots for him! Anyhoo, since there were so many good ones I went ahead and loaded the high quality ones to flickr (instead of my usual way of making them much smaller data files just for web use).

I have been watching The Vampire Diaries as my guilty little high school throw back – mostly because I read the books, in my formative years.  I know the show has deviated significantly from the books so it will be good to get a little refresher.  I remembered that there were 3 books but I forgot about the fourth so I was a little bummed to realize that I don’t have the first one (I must have leant it out a million years ago).  I pretty sure I have the storyline down well enough to skip strait to book two.  I’m amazing like that.

We found these super cute shrimp plants. They’ve been trained up as trees. Hopefully, we can keep them looking cute!

Then we went in search of food. SBW wanted to sit on a patio. I’m raising a very fancy child. Then, we headed to the Children’s Museum.  It’s pretty good for the under 7 set and definitely nicer than when it was located in an old Mervyn’s (I always felt like I was breathing in mold from that place).  Not the most impressive I’ve been to but not too shabby either. Most importantly, the kiddos had a great time…
