Welcome to The Human Pacifier and the infamous ‘About’ page. It seems like every website has one and if you were interested enough in me to click on the link then I shall be gracious enough to tell you about (ha ha, first thing to note I have a despicable sense of humor – it takes so little) my slice of the world.
I was born in California, but thanks to the Marine Corp not granting my parents base housing in Hawaii (thanks again USMC I’m sure that would have been awful) we soon moved to Texas.
I love living in Texas. I have the pictures to prove it:

See? Oilers baby! Need more proof?

Yes, I do believe a picture of me shooting a big gun proves I live in Texas.
I have an amazing family. Here are my older brothers (This is how Preston prefers to be photographed):

And, Matt can pretty much sleep anywhere and through anything but at least he woke up long enough to meet his wonderful wife. Though she is a bit of a cow:

On the flip side I have a younger brother and sister. These pictures are the prepubescent versions of their rowdy present-day teenage selves (but they are my faves and it’s my website so tough luck):

And, then came the family I chose. I met my husband in college whilst we were matriculating at Texas A&M University (see, I went!). How cute is he? Still is.

Then came the magical day when I permitted him to propose to me (see, I had big travel the world plans and love & marriage were really not on the horizon – or so I thought). We were married in Versailles (at least, that’s when I discovered Photoshop – he rightly thinks I’m a dork).

Which, of course, brings us to Sweet Baby Will.

He’s my obsession. He amazes and confounds me on a regular basis. Who knew you could love something so much?
I have two other babies that I thought I was hopelessly in love with, until I had SBW, but they are still pretty awesome, completely adorable and totally loving – Maya & Lola.

So, this is my life. I taught high school for three years before embarking on my job as a full time mother and though I’ve never had a better job I still need a little creative outlet. A way to feel like I’m reaching out and speaking to full-fledged adults.
We just moved into a new house so now I would like to capitalize on my amazing new office:

From which, I plan to share our many adventures in the unexpected:

Thanks for stopping by and sharing in what I love,
Victoria
